The work

What we build

The BinduHealth HMIS, inventory management, and e-ticketing. Deployed in 14+ public healthcare facilities, from Upazila Health Complexes to Medical College Hospitals, with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare as a stakeholder.

What the software has to do

Hospital systems have to be correct, available and auditable. Data integrity, access control and behaviour under a bad connection come up in most weeks.

The stack

React, TypeScript, Express and Prisma against PostgreSQL, with Docker for local development. Next.js on our public sites.

The team

Small, so features are owned end to end. Every change is reviewed. Interns get a mentor and a structured curriculum rather than an unassigned desk.

Software Engineering Intern

Apply for this role

You start on a structured, mentor-reviewed training programme covering the stack we use, then move onto the products: the BinduHealth HMIS, inventory management, and e-ticketing.

What you will do

Build full-stack features with React, TypeScript, Express and Prisma against PostgreSQL
Design database schemas and write the queries behind them, aggregations and transactions included
Implement authentication, validation and error handling that holds up outside a demo
Work through branches, pull requests and review, the same as everyone else on the team

What we look for

Clear communication above all. You can explain a decision, ask a precise question, and write something a colleague can act on without a follow-up call
Engineering sense: you can tell a sound solution from one that merely runs
Working knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript and at least one modern web framework
Comfortable with Git, HTTP, SQL and the command line
Currently studying, or recently graduated in, Computer Science or a related field
Able to reach our Dhaka office for the in-office part of the week

Internships

We take a small number of interns each cycle, undergraduates from anywhere in Bangladesh. You get a mentor, real tickets, and the same review as everyone else on the team.

You start with a structured training programme: a full-stack application you build yourself, reviewed at every step.

Full-stack foundation

7 days

React, TypeScript and Vite on the front, Express and Prisma on the back, PostgreSQL in Docker. JWT authentication, Zod validation, and a schema you design yourself.

State management

3 days

Redux Toolkit and RTK Query across the whole application: caching, invalidation on mutation, and polling where data has to stay live.

Data and reporting

3 days

Server-side pagination, Prisma aggregations and transactions, charts, and report generation to PDF, Excel and CSV.

We weight clear communication and engineering sense above knowledge of any particular technology.

Previous industry experience is not required. Having built something on your own is: a project, a contribution, a tool you wrote because you needed it.

Interviews for the current cycle are underway. Applications stay on file between cycles.
